You need to have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months.
Visas are required for some nationalities. Please confirm with the local embassy or consulate if you are not sure.
To be allowed to get into the country, you need to be fully vaccinated or present a Covid-19 PCR test prior to arrival.
Even though you are not required to be vaccinated to enter Colombia, many public buildings, restaurants, bars, hotels, churches, and other venues can require you to show proof of vaccination or deny you entry.

If you are staying at Novotel in Medellin, you can arrange with the tour agency for an airport pick up or drop off (25–35 minute ride depending on traffic).
If you are staying at Hotel Lagoon in Rionegro you can coordinate with the reservation agent for the airport transfer that they have available at no additional charge (10-minute ride).
Uber is a safe option.
Medellin Airport Taxis are widely available and are a safe option. Make sure you don’t get into an unmarked car. Taxis in Medellin are yellow.

Medellin is nicknamed “the city of eternal spring” for its nice weather. However, the weather has been crazy lately and it can be cold and rainy one day, and be beautiful and sunny the next day.
Generally, the temperature at this time of year should range between 60 ℉ and 80 ℉ (15 ℃ to 26 ℃).
The temperature in Rionegro is usually about 5 ℉ – 8 ℉ lower (2 ℃ – 5 ℃).

Contrary to popular belief and bad reputation, Medellin is a relatively safe city. We urge you however, to use common sense and be careful and alert at all times.
The ceremony is at Nuestra Señora de Chiquinquirá Church in Rionegro, Colombia.
The reception is at Santa Monica Premium Events, Finca La Manuela in Rionegro, Colombia.

The Reception ends at 2 AM.
We will have shuttle busses to transport you to and from the wedding venue. More information will be available closer to the date.
As much as we love the little ones, our wedding is an adult-only event. We hope you don’t mind getting a babysitter and leaving the little ones at home, we just want everyone to be able to let their hair down and celebrate with us without having to worry about kids.
The only children at the wedding will be the wedding party and our nieces and nephews.

If you wish to schedule hair and make-up in the comfort of your room, we can arrange this. We have a few make-up artists and stylists that will be available to provide this service. Let us know so we can help you coordinate this.
Novotel is connected to El Tesoro mall and there are a few salons available there also. Please make an appointment in advance.
There will be a welcome cocktail for out-of town guests. We will provide more information about this at a later time.
